Spirulina Power Balls

I am so excited to share this recipe with you all and especially walk you through the process in how I made these beautiful and tasty bites! 


I have made these power balls with different ingredients and blending them in different ways to get the perfect texture and taste and after a few rounds I think I finally got it down to a science! 

I love making these as a part of my meal prep for the week! They make such a great snack to take on the go, or a great sweet treat after dinner, they are also a great pre-workout bite that will keep you fueled and focused throughout your workout! 



1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds

1/2 Sunflower Seeds

1/4 cup Chia Seeds

1/2 Shredded Coconut

1 tablespoon Spirulina

1 Scoop Aloha Vanilla Plant Protein

1 heaping tablespoon Coconut Butter 

6 Pitted Dates

2-3 tablespoon water


Step 1

Blend the pumpkin, Sunflower and Chia seeds along with the Coconut in the food processor until it is thoroughly chopped into tiny pieces. When you pick it up with your fingers it should START to stick together a bit.

Step 2

Add Spirulina, Protein , Coconut Butter and 1/2 of the dates and blend again for a minute or two

Step 3

Check the mixture to see if it is sticking together with your fingers. If it still is not sticking together, add the other 3 dates. 

IMPORTANT: This is also when I added about 3 tablespoons of water! After I mixed it together one more time I could see it clumping together as it was mixing so I stopped the processor. 

Out came the PERFECT consistency!

Step 4

I rolled 1/2 of the Protein Balls in Bee Pollen and 1/2 in Shredded Coconut. Totally your choice on IF and WHAT you want to roll them in so have fun with that! 

NOTE: If you do not have Aloha protein, any plant based protein will be just fine. If you do not have any, you can also use Coconut or Almond Flour as an easy replacement.

Paleo Nut Banana Bread

I am a BIG fan of Banana Bread! I love the smell of it when it comes fresh out of the oven, I love the spice combo that is usually a part of any Banana Bread Recipe and I love heating up a slice with a little bit of Ghee on top for a sweet treat after dinner :) 



After a recipe fail two weeks ago, I went back to the books and found one that I could work with and put my own twist on it and it turned out pretty amazing if I don’t say so myself! 


Texture and flavor are super important to me when it comes to Banana Bread so I added some of my favorite signature spices that you see in other recipes like my Reishi Bites :) 

I also added two kinds of chopped nuts that add that perfect flavor and texture to the bread. 



Paleo Nut Banana Bread

  • 4 bananas, (2 1/2 cups mashed or 575 grams)(they can be yellow bananas)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2c Almond Butter
  • 4tbs Fourth and Heart Ghee 
  • 1c Chopped Pecans and Walnuts
  • 1/2c Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tbs Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Cloves
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • pinch of sea salt


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees 
  2. Combine your bananas, eggs, Vanilla and nut butter, and grass-fed butter in a bowl and mix well 
  3. Once all of your ingredients are blended, add in your coconut flour, Spices, Nuts, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt and mix well
  4. Pour your batter in a loaf pan lied with parchment paper
  5. Place in your preheated oven and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
  6. Remove from oven and flip your bread out onto a cooling rack
  7. Slice and serve
